A 14 to 16 year old meeting

World Aids Day

Hi guys World Aids Day is hear again and the numbers of people living with HIV is getting higher. Therefor respect yourself and others and wear a condom with lots of lube. You can get them free from us at the group and we still have some glow ones left. City Screen York are showing the film WEEKEND which is a new highly rated gay film is Sunday 11th Dec at 8pm.

We did, had a great game of rounders with the L,G,B,T youth group from Calderdale and listen to some good music. Also big thank you to all the people who filled in our cards, about advice you wish you had been given when you were younger.

Stonewall Youth Event
Monday 10th May 2010
The Stonewall Youth Event will take place this year on 5th June 2010 at City Hall, in London. Last year saw speeches from celebrity role models (Actor Sir Ian McKellen, singer Dan Gillespie Sells and champion snowboarder Jo Chastney), and young people attended workshops on realising ambitions and developing confidence, being gay and having faith, getting the job you want, staying safe and healthy and developing campaigning skills.
